Cory Booker is New Jersey's senior U.S. Senator, known for his oratorical skill and national profile in criminal justice reform. A former Mayor of Newark, Rhodes Scholar, and Yale Law graduate, he is one of the most prolific fundraisers in the Senate. He ran briefly for president in 2020 before withdrawing. In 2024, he delivered a record-setting Senate floor speech spanning more than 25 hours to protest spending cuts. He is seeking a third term in 2026.
