Beth Van Duyne is the U.S. Representative for Texas's 24th Congressional District, a position she has held since January 3, 2021. A Republican from Irving, Texas, she served on the Irving City Council from 2004 to 2010 and was the first woman elected Mayor of Irving, serving from 2011 to 2017. In May 2017, she was appointed Regional Administrator for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Southwest Region, a role she held before resigning to run for Congress. She is a Cornell University graduate and is running for re-election in 2026.
