August Lee Pfluger (born December 28, 1977) is a U.S. Air Force colonel serving as the U.S. representative for Texas's 11th congressional district since January 3, 2021. A Republican, he was born in Harris County, Texas, and earned a bachelor's degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy plus master's degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Air University, and Georgetown University. Pfluger served 20 years on active Air Force duty, transferred to the Air Force Reserve, and worked on the National Security Council before resigning to run for Congress in 2020.
