Adriano Espaillat represents New York's 13th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives. First elected in 2016, he previously served in the New York State Senate representing parts of Manhattan and the Bronx. Espaillat is the first formerly undocumented immigrant to serve in Congress, having immigrated from the Dominican Republic as a child.
