Abraham Jamal Hamadeh (born May 15, 1991, in Chicago, Illinois) is the U.S. representative for Arizona's 8th congressional district, a seat he has held since January 3, 2025, when he succeeded Debbie Lesko. A Republican, he earned a bachelor's degree from Arizona State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, and served in the U.S. Army Reserve as an intelligence officer from 2016. He worked as a prosecutor in the Maricopa County Attorney's Office and was the 2022 Republican nominee for Arizona attorney general, losing to Kris Mayes by 280 votes.
