Aaron Paul Bean (born January 25, 1967, in Fernandina Beach, Florida) is the U.S. Representative for Florida's 4th congressional district, a seat he has held since January 3, 2023. A Republican, he previously served in the Florida Senate from 2012 to 2022, including as President pro tempore from 2020 to 2022, and in the Florida House of Representatives from 2000 to 2008. He holds a B.S. from Jacksonville University, worked at UF Health Jacksonville, and served as a city commissioner and later mayor in Fernandina Beach.
